I am a speech and language therapist currently working in the fields of stroke, stammering, and voice. I have experience in delivering therapy for clients with conditions such as dysphagia, aphasia, dyspraxia, dysarthria, voice disorders, as well as a range of other communication difficulties. I am trained in Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and the Lidcombe Program, amongst other approaches. As a person who stammers, I know first hand the importance of effective, personalised therapy. I have been involved with communication charities, such as Deafblind UK and the British Stammering Association, and have a particular interest in stammering, aphasia, and the role of new technologies in therapy. In 2015 I was the recipient of the Travers Reid Award for new research into stammering.

Wendy has many years of experience with the Stuttering Measurement System, and was trained in the MPI Stuttering Treatment Program by Dr. Ingham.
